Well it’s been an interesting first half of the year summer. I will divide this up into pieces with some highlights. Sorry. it’s in two parts. 😦

In November we had my son Rick and family for Thanksgiving. They drove up for a couple days to Gypsy’s Retreat.

Stace Martin and Suzzi, from the UK, stopped by on their way traveling through the US. They were so much fun and we had a great time with them before they moved on. A couple months later they returned with a proper English tea pot with some proper black tea. Remember, one for each cup and one for the pot. Now I’m ready to host some Brits.

We then headed to FL for Lucy’s birthday party. We avoid Disney but we did go to the walk of trees at Disney Springs.

Jason Spofford and Lisa Morris, of Four Wheeled Nomad, from the UK, stopped by for a couple weeks late December. We had a gathering with Doug Wothke and Polly Marinova also sitting at the table. Not out of the bottle, Lisa. That’s used for Slippery Nipples. 🙂

We went down to Florida and bought another camper. We camped at a great Florida State Park north of Daytona Beach, Tamoka SP. I built a electric ramp in the back of my truck for the motorcycle.

We hosted Christmas dinner with overlanding friends. Around the table were Jason and Lisa from the UK, David Woodburn from Georgia via Australia, Emy Woodburn also from Georgia via the Philippines and and us mutts. Then we drove over to Doug and Polly’s for more celebration.

That’s all I’ll bore you with now. Don’t worry, South America has started, you just have to wait a week.

Cheers,

2WANDRRs
