Love Mornings at Gypsy’s Retreat

I just love the mornings here. Especially this time of year. It’s still cool in the morning. The birds are all signing their songs. The feeder is busy. I even place seed along the railing of the deck. I sit in my chair just watching and waiting. Coffee in my hand. A couple  hummingbirds just over my shoulder. Their wings beating loudly as they sip the sugar water. They are on there northern migration now and we welcome them here. A woodpecker in a nearby tree tap, tap, tapping. Bliss
