As we travel and ride around this incredible planet, we’ve had the privilege of visiting many exotic places. Some have been breathtaking, others a little rough around the edges, but each has been special in its own way. Along the way, we’ve immersed ourselves in cultures very different from our own, and everywhere we’ve gone we’ve been welcomed by kind people eager to share their lives, traditions, and stories.
After traveling through 82 countries, one truth has become even clearer to us: there is no place we’d rather call home than the United States of America.
This journey has only deepened our appreciation for the opportunities we’ve been given. We were able to build a life, work hard, dream big, and enjoy the freedoms that made an adventure like this possible. Those freedoms didn’t happen by accident. They were earned through the courage, sacrifice, and determination of generations of Americans who came before us.
Today, on July 4th, we proudly celebrate 250 years of American independence. We honor those who founded this nation, those who fought to preserve it, and the millions of immigrants—including many of our own ancestors—who came seeking liberty and the chance to build a better life. Together, they helped create a country unlike any other.
Like every great nation, America has faced challenges throughout its history, and we face new ones today. But we’ve overcome adversity before, and we believe the American spirit—resilient, optimistic, and determined—will continue to carry us forward. The winds of history are always changing, but the ideals of freedom and opportunity remain worth celebrating and defending.
From a distant corner of the world, we’re especially grateful to call America home.
Happy Independence Day.
