The Overland Expo West didn’t disappoint this year. For those of you who don’t know what this event is, the OX is geared for overland travelers, 2 wheel or 4, traveling around the corner or around the world. The transportation ranged from $2000 motorbikes to million dollar giant, multi-wheel drive vehicles capable of travel over all types of terrain to all points of the globe.
Attendance was estimated at 8-10,000 people over the weekend listening to amazing presentations by even more amazing people to watching demonstrations of what these 2, 4 and more wheeled vehicles are capable of.
With the arrival of a cold front and attendees on Thursday afternoon the weekend turned into a snow, rain and mud fest. Many multi-day attendees were also camping, including us, but we all still managed to have a brilliant time hanging out around the fully stocked picnic table, (wine, whiskey and beer), chatting with old and new friends.
Here are a bunch of pictures from the fantastic weekend.
